The Made in America Movement (MAM) website is a great place to find products and learn more about the organization and how it supports businesses and workers in America.
 

They have a list of MAM approved made in USA companies that is organized by the type of product.  Be aware that in some cases, not all of the products from that company will be Made in USA.

Entrepreneur Switches to American Manufacturing, Finds Success

Matthew Burnett's blog post on Maker's Row compares manufacturing overseas to building his product in the United States, and how it can be a key component of a successful business.   Mr. Burnett's company is The Brooklyn Bakery Store, featuring leather goods made in the United States.  You can find a variety of products, from the more modern sleeves for an iPhone, iPad or Macbook to more standard items like wallets, and coin purses.

American Artist Edward Gorey Gets a Doodle

The Google doodle for Friday, February 22, 2013 honors the birthday of an American artist, writer and poet, Edward Gorey.  He was born in 1925 Chicago, Illinois, and is famous for illustrating a wide variety of books.
