American Apparel Restructuring

American Apparel advertises 'Made in Downtown LA' and 'Made in USA Since 1989' on its website.  The company is having financial difficulties, but may rebound with some restructuring according to recent reports.

Made in USA Certified Validates Goods and Services

Made in USA Certified provides verification of products or services that are made in the United States.  It provides seals for Made in USA Certified, Product of USA Certified, and Service in USA Certified.


AvaLAN Wireless recently qualified for its industrial wireless radio technology.  Other companies that have obtained certification include All American Clothing, U.S. Apparel,  Tough Traveler (luggage, backpacks), Hanky Panky (Lingerie), and Konas Chips (dog treats).

Miss New Zealand Chooses Dress Made In USA

The Miss Universe contestant from New Zealand has caused a stir in her homeland by wearing a dress Made in the USA for her national costume.  She wore only a few accessories designed in New Zealand.  The dress was designed by aptly named US designer Sherry Helen America.
